WHAT did we learn from the trip to Queens Park Rangers then. Anybody, anybody?

We learnt that they are going to have to mount a challenge of epic proportions to even think about escaping. In reality they may already be down which is a shame for them but they offered nothing on Saturday to even suggest they are capable.

The game was a bit of a weird one, when Javier Hernandez flicked that header over and the QPR ‘keeper saved, it looked like United were going to steamroller the London side. Reading Aloud

United deal with Reading and Nani puts in a shift. I know, right?

HONESTLY the game against Reading largely went according to the script. They came to compete and not just park the bus, and we had to work for the goals and the victory. That’s exactly as it should be. Adam Federici in the Reading goal and the rest of their defence seemed to combine for a large part of the game to be one massive pain in United’s arse, and we mean that positively you understand.

Javier Hernandez saw a shot and Danny Welbeck’s rebound both blocked by Adrian Mariappa, Federici saved from Welbeck and Ashley Young had his effort blocked by Sean Morrison and all this in the opening five minutes. Adam Federici continued to deny as the first half went on; Tom Cleverley drove the ball towards goal from the edge of the box, Federici saved that and the follow up from Ashley Young.
